So Pfizer spent $43 B in order to lock in sales of $20 B, which were about to come 7 years later. That was in 2023, now add inflation to have somehow realistic numbers for late 2026 or 2027 and one can easily make that $50 B in today's world.

Please, let's stop even discussing single digits. That would be an insult to the mental capacity of Cytodyn's management and its shareholders. Anything below $30 B shouldn't be worth considered, and that would still be daylight robbery if the numbers (including mtnbc) confirm. In my humble opinion the bidding war should start exactly there, at $30 B.
