Maybe I'm reading too much into it but when someone who has a verifiable track record of entrepreneurship (3 startups, 3 successes) says "the stars seem to be in alignment" when speaking of creating and nurturing a company that will fundamentally change the multi, multi-billion $$$ healthcare system, you know what (??), I am going to listen and take it to heart.
He verified an order of 25,000 units to populate the VA system which is the single largest integrated healthcare system in the US. And is proceeding to roll out product in 3,700 pharmacys. He also mentioned an order for 100,000 before the end of the year. He met Dr. Oz and according to Mr. Mayer, they got along like a 'house on fire'. The CMS, headed up by Dr. Oz, provides healthcare for HALF of the entire US market. What CMS covers is a strong indicator of what the insurers will cover. We also have 8 CPT codes.
An opportunity such as this doesn't come along every day of the week. BIEL is supplying the hardware to a proven entrepreneur as measured by any metric.
