When Matt Shotwell reached out to me to get together, I said, "sure why not" 
Matt is one of the stars of the Discovery Channel's Reality TV Series "Weed Country". I had been sick all day, so when he called, I told him that it was going to be a t-shirt, no makeup and ponytail day just chilling out with my little dog Abby I call it my "tree hugging hippy mode". My girls tease me about it. Honestly I could care less about fashion in my day to day life at home. I've never really cared about being "the cool girl". Most "cool girls" I know are mean girls caught up in labels and materialism with a lifestyle they can't really afford. I admire Matt for going through all that he's gone through on the show, the raid of his dispensary, the stress of losing everything you have because of the DEA's enforcement of draconian laws. We've been brainstorming about Matt getting involved in some Hollywood projects, red carpet events, etc. He mentioned becoming the "Mark Cuban of Marijuana", I think he might be on to something. One thing I know is that Hollywood loves a great come back story. It's not about our falls in life, it's how we adjust to those stumbles along the way, pick ourselves up, dust off our asses and keep moving forward. Right? Enjoy our video blog of our day together.
