Punch TV Announces The Fall Line-up At 1st Annual

" May 15, 2012 - The event opened with actress and recording artist, Lia Grant and the Punch TV Dancers as she sang the Punch TV anthem. Philanthropist and Community Leader, Ms. Daphna Ziman then graced the stage to share her wisdom and support for Punch TV as she presented the CEO, Mr. Joseph Collins.
As Mr. Collins took the stage there was anticipation in the room. The advertising agents sat on edge to hear the definition of the New Urban America. The marketplace much sought after but very misunderstood. As he began speaking the crowd burst out in a roar with chants of Punch TV Punch TV Punch TV heard throughout the room as Mr. Collins engaged the audience and announced that Punch TV will target "The New Urban America" an America where there are no color lines and that transcend the stereotypical information that has defined Urban America. Acknowledging Punch TV's innovativeness, he predicted that Punch will change America one household at a time. Punch TV is managed by a team of extremely gifted individuals who have came together to bring some of the most compelling programming that television can offer.
As part of the presentation, Punch TV announced an unprecedented roster of new shows to the thirsty crowd. Snippets from sixteen shows were presented to the audience as stars of the shows took the stage. "The Guest List" starring Miguel Nunez Jr. brings comedy and energy as the new Late Night talk show. Competing with Ellen will be "The Louisa Show," starring Louisa Diaz. Getting up close and personal into the lives of some the most influential people in show business, actor Obba Babatunde hosts "Beyond the Lens". Zane, from the Sex Chronicles, brings "A Taste of Hunney" In this scripted reality series, an actress and a designer attempt to join forces to create a lingerie line that can compete with major brands such as Victoria's Secret and Frederick's of Hollywood. Fueled with drama, "Whatever It Takes" is a competitive music reality show that shows several young musically-inclined hopefuls in their pursuit of a successful career in the music industry.
Punch also introduced several new scripted series. "Chick" a little bit of superhero in all of us. The series "12 Steps to Recovery", three best friends humorously go through the trials of breakups, set backs, work, and life in the Big Apple. "Eighty-Six" is a drama detailing the nasty side of the music industry. Bringing a bit of faith into the mix, Punch introduced "Get Thee Behind Me," a musical drama that chronicles the pathway to redemption of some of the Nation's most vicious gangsters. "2nd District" is an action-packed drama about a police department that is struggling to maintain order in a community that has been seized by gangs. Adding to the action, Punch TV introduced "Port City PD," a drama that follows three low-ranked detectives as they solve cases, fight crime, and attempt to prove themselves. The "Hollywood Punch Report" will be the network's premiere entertainment news show. Our morning child's show, "Filbert's Big Bash", in this educational show designed for children ages 3-9, several lovable dinosaurs make learning fun with dancing and singing. Punch also introduced the network's only sci-fi series. "Black Dawn", the series is the story of a group of college students who survive a deadly plague that has fallen over Los Angeles. CEO Joseph Collins also announced his plans to carry sports broadcasting such as professional basketball and mixed martial arts, as well as independent movies. With its diverse lineup of programming, Punch TV is set to make its mark in The New Urban American in 2012. The Fall season will begin airing in mid-September.
