Never mind that CYDY had been bullied by the FDA during the epidemic. CYDY wound up with a 2 year FDA hold with its reputation in tatters and nobody else in the Biopharma world believed anything about CYDY.
So the board and certain others started over by sweeping out all the old managers. After a false start or two they asked Dr. J to run the show. He and his Dad are known in the Pharma and research world as reputable researchers and honest men. A very good thing for CYDY.
Big Pharma is guided by money. They don't gamble much. They will spend the money where they see they can make more money from their spending.
Dr. J and crew spent some serious time and effort looking at the mish-mash of data that had been gleaned before they came on the scene. It took some serious "Columbo" work to track down leronlimab users and what happened to them. Then they correlated why the Five Alive" were still alive and leronlimab' s MOA and its effect on upregulating PD-L!.
This all makes perfect biomedical sense and makes a great retrospective point. But until this point is prospectively proven, no Big Pharma is going to publicly spend money or commit to CYDY. They won't trust CYDY or anybody until they see the prospective data.
I'd guess that Dr. J. has had some very interesting conversations with various Reps of Big Pharma already. We won't know anything about those conversations until later. Dr. J has access to our people who do acquisitions, partnerships, buyouts, licensing or whatever. The longs who have been invested in this company will be taken care of as well as the multitude of patients who will benefit from leronlimab for whatever CCR5 screwup their disease has bestowed upon them. Dr. J. has been clear about this.
So the something else that is going on is CYDY's checkered history with the Biopharma community and the FDA. Nobody is going to believe what we've got in leronlimab until we prospectively show them what we've got.
We now have a trusted and respected management, a solid MOA and direct effect suggested to help cure certain cancers along with the support of a high worth individual who has seen enough to sponsor some of the studies with some significant money upfront.
Let these prospective studies progress at their own pace. No pressure. Remember that anything really good takes time, makes you obese or winds up in a pregnancy.
