Tracy Butler MD is one of Seventeen (!) co-authors of a paper published on 11/29/2025 in the Journal of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases.

That paper used imaging (Magnetic Resonance) to look at veins and volumes of brain structures. As stated in the abstract (DMVs = Deep Medullary Veins ---> PURPOSE: This study aims to better understand the relationship between DMVs, subcortical (lateral ventricle to intracranial volume ratio (ICV)) and cortical atrophy (cortical thickness) to identify whether DMVs can be a predictor of volume changes in these regions.

Quoting Dr. Jay from the Seprember 2025 Shareholder Letter: "We are pleased to share that the Alzheimer’s study at Cornell University Medical Center in New York has received both FDA and IRB approval, a “kickoff meeting” was just conducted, and enrollment will begin in the coming weeks. As previously noted, this study has been funded by an outside foundation to whom we are very grateful, but that wishes to remain anonymous at this time."

Our enrollment hadn't started as of the September 2025 Letter. As mentioned previously by Dr. Jay, the primary endpoint of the study involves imaging. Will they also look at clinical findings as secondary endpoints? Don't know.

I'm not holding my breath for these results. On the one hand, the imaging outcome may be early and deep in the weeds as a preliminary imaging marker for Alzheimer's. On the other hand, the study involves more humans injected with our molecule. I hope they'll measure a whole sh*tTon <supply credit here> of lab values via some blood samples.

Lastly, as I strive for Hangout post accuracy and as I searched the 2024-2025 Letters for the correct JL quote, I was startled as I was reminded about all our great irons in the fire. Read or re-read those Letters to make your investment decisions! Compare our stuff with those other companies you're considering.
