I am not sure my answer was what you were asking ,
So BBB ( blood-brain-barrier ) , is a similar barrier system protecting the brain and spinal cord.
But more often when said BBB is meant the brain , but it is protecting both.
And again , brain and spinal cord is called central nervous system..
