Not buying into your line of thought that CytoDyn moved forward with a business registration to work with Novo Nordisk.
The 2020 expansion at Novo Nordisk's Clayton, North Carolina site marked the completion of a new active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing facility, which was announced in 2016 with a $1.8 billion investment. This facility focuses on producing APIs for diabetes and obesity medications, including insulins and GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide (the key ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy).
Nothing about monoclonal antibodies for their North Carolina ops.
Denmark, yes. North Carolina, no.
Any other takers with a plausible reason that CytoDyn registered to do business in North Carolina?
