Evil, I read everything posted here, even the posts that are here for a very short time, prior to getting "censored." Yes, criticism of management's trial design, speed of enrollment, etc. IS legitimate, and I have seen here, so I will give you that, but there are many other criticism's that ARE also legit, that I don't consider whining. We should not lower the bar of expectations because the former management WAS HORRIBLE, and this management is better, but still not good (I.R. doesn't even respond to legitimate investor questions, there has been NO improvement in transparency, as promised, "participation trophies" for DRJ and Tyler for "trying? Are you kidding me? They are already getting paid for trying). These are but a few examples. I am ready for some winning! Management, which includes the BOD, controls that narrative. This is a non-revenue company. With the infrequent exceptions of a small grant here and there, and maybe now a "rich Good Samaritan," potentially offering some funding, EVERY single penny spent on everything, (rent, operating expenses, trips, compensation packages including "participation trophies," specialization of staff, etc.) ultimately come from your and my pockets. I DEMAND value for my investment dollar, regardless of the company I invest in.
For example, a few years ago, I was invested in a small biotech that had similar slow enrollment issues. As a result, the CEO hired an individual, whose only job was to go to every trial location and train staff, push the agenda, promote awareness in those communities, do whatever he could do to speed enrollment. His results WERE DRAMATIC!!! His efforts shaved off many months of enrollment, based on the previous enrollment rate. Time is our enemy here. This isn't a frickin' science experiment. No doubt that DJL is ethical, but is he money-motivated? I was concerned with the DJL hire who had been running Quest since the '80s with a staff of 13-16, which still has a staff of 13-16. Not only should our CEO be competent, qualified, ethical, but also money-motivated!!!! Has an urgent drive to get LL to market asap as competitors, with much deeper pockets, are not sitting on their hands. Even if their offerings are not 100% as good as LL, once they are first to market with a drug, backed by the power/politics/money/influence of big pharma, it is very difficult to unseat them. THIS IS A RACE!!!!!
