I'm not sure how that works or if regulatory even allows for a branched protocol. If they do, that would be great.
For a paradigm shift, though, we just need to provide more data (prove) that PD-L1 is elevated. When we do that, there will be many interested parties and the price for partnership goes much higher. That is huge.
For patients, I hope they do something like what you are suggesting, if regulatory would allow that. They may think it is muddying the waters. But it would be the right thing to do. Or maybe if they have enough data early on, regulatory will allow some modification of the protocol to give patients the treatment they need sooner. This is all about helping patients and mankind.
The good news is data is being taken right now, so help is on the way, both for the paradigm shift and the help it will give to patients.
We all have friends who could be helped by this. Hang in there.
