Brentie: "doesn't it sound like compassionate use patients might be able to start ICI's sooner?"

Yes, but I think that refers only to mTNBC patients ineligible for the Phase 2 study. On the other hand when I recently contacted CYDY about getting EIND usage for a neighbor of mine with pancreatic cancer, I got a very friendly response within 2 hours detailing how my neighbor's oncologist can easily achieve that.

This also brings to mind something we dealt with way back in Covid treatment trial days when we wondered if patients wouldn't sign up for the trial since they had only a 50% chance of getting Leronlimab rather than placebo. If I were an mCRC patient today, (and if I'm correct that they can only use an ICI after full completion of the trial's 48 weeks) would I sign up for "half a cure" and be willing to wait for the end of the trial period to get the other half? Or perhaps they're trying to get LL through EIND rather than taking part in the trial? It would seem to be a difficult thing for CYDY to tell patients with cancers other than mCRC, yes you can have LL through EIND but insist that patients with mCRC take part in the trial as their only option.

Before the mCRC trial protocol was approved I remember management saying that they expected enrollment to proceed very quickly since there was such a large backlog of patients desperate for help. Could the excruciatingly slow enrollment we're actually experiencing be because of that long wait for the other half making other treatments more appealing?
