Just a point that should be made. Leronlimab works on PD-L1 positive and negative cancers this is true, it does not work on CCR5 Negative tumors, which should sound obvious but just know that is 30-40% of tumors in the cancer type it is studied, mTNBC, and hasn't yet been proven against MSS CRC. A medication that does turn cold tumors hot, does work on CCR5 Negative tumors, and does work on MSS CRC as we know it, with a cPR of 4.0% (measured against LLs 3.7%) is Megrolimab which was bought out by Gilead for roughly 4.9 billion. Seemingly superior numbers and a low overall potential ceiling for buyout.
Gilead also owns Sazituzimab Govitecan, who's competitor for best ICI in the field is Atezolizumab, with a superior cPR of 7.1% in the IMPASSION trial against mTNBC, who is owned by Roche.
I think our biggest hope as far as cancer application, is that we beat out the rest of the field in cold to hot tumor conversion (can list like 7 other drugs in this field being studied, will post below) and get studies done with both Sazituzimab Govitecan, as well as Atezolizumab as adjuvant therapies, or else I don't see where we stand a chance. LL needs to prove synergistic treatment is superior, the studies are not even in the making, we are so far away from proving ourselves just yet. We need a partnership (hopefully Roche), so while this all sounds great for science, just know the world will not look at LL the way we do, not until we get some studies done. That's at least how I feel.
Other cold to hot tumor medications, the cancer types they're being studied on, and their MOA: I'm posting them so that ppl can decide to look into them, it could be wise to know about LL's competitors:
