It seems that they are still waiting on an SEC approval. Someone asked a great question about what happens after the approval? It sounds like the SEC could give the green light very soon as per. They also stated how once they get the approval they will have to spend a little time showing the SEC how smoothly the trading will run on the new platform. They said that that could take a month or several at most. No wonder Doc was excited about the DE working with MEMX!!
Having said that, we really need that approval no later than the end of August if we want a chance to launch this year. He sounded pretty confident that we will but he is being careful after telling us "weeks, if not days", last year. Staying hopeful but wary....
