Greetings HHSE Friends - Sometimes TIMING is everything.
It was 50 years ago this summer that Michael Martin Murphey's iconic song WLDFIRE hit #1 in the USA and many major countries worldwide. Accordingly, this benchmark achievement has turned into a fortuitous springboard for a feature publicity angle in support of our movie, "WILDFIRE: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse."
Although our L.A.-Based Entertainment PR firm has already arranged many feature stories, TV appearances and radio interviews in support of "WILDFIRE" - the launch on Friday, Sept. 26 from USA TODAY and their GANNETT Newspaper holdings is extremely exciting and high profile.
The feature in USA today will also be fed to the Gannett owned local newspapers for re-publication that opening weekend... which includes DETROIT FREE PRESS, DAILY OKLAHOMAN, NASHVILLE TENNESSEAN, MEMPHIS COMMERCIAL APPEAL, ARIZONA REPUBLIC, CINCINNATI ENQUIRER and many more! Overall, this is expected to deliver 10-million impressions on readers. .. and timed for the film's opening weekend at the box office!

Join us at the KiMo Theatre on August 17, as Michael Martin Murphey takes the stage to celebrate a monumental milestone in his career—the 50th anniversary of his classic million - selling Pop-Country song, “Wildfire”.
The worldwide success of “Wildfire" and his 4th album “Blue Sky Night Thunder” led Michael Martin Murphey on a journey as a singer-songwriter through multiple genres of music- pop, country, western, bluegrass, folk and jazz. The Wildfire Anniversary concert will feature other selections from Blue Sky Night Thunder such as “Carolina in the Pines” and “Desert Rat”; but will also include songs from award-winning albums COWBOY SONGS (“Cowboy Logic”), MICHAEL MARTIN MURPHEY (“What’s Forever For”) and BUCKAROO BLUE GRASS (“Jesse James Trilogy”)
