Below is a copy of a post I made on another board. Thought some here would find the info helpful:
I heard there would be news last week that was good news (though some might have interpreted it as bad) and that was the 8-K that told of Jones stepping down as Pres and now strictly on the BOD and Wright assuming the role of Pres (not sure if he is still also head of BOD).
I took it as very good news since Jones mainly got the company squared away in an administrative way, financial reports up to date, new trading platform, etc and now turning it over to Wright who is more in the oil/energy business
Since nobody remarked on it last week I wasn't going to bring it up even though it was put out by GWTI.
At that time, Mark told me news would be out soon thereafter but nothing in regards to what/who/when or anything specific. I am hoping by the end of July, but that is just a WAG.
My personal belief is that we will get a very nice update on the CDU (commercial demo unit) being just about ready to go or already running.
I believe once that news comes out, it won't be long (2-4 weeks) before first orders are placed as whoever gave us the money to build it is obviously chomping at the bit to get them into production, then once the 'oil business people' see a unit actually running, can visit the CDU, and are brought up to date on the financial bonanza our units will bring to all flared gas units that we could see a pretty staggering amount of orders be placed.
I know that GWTI is looking at the big picture, not just small one and two unit orders, and I am betting big that they are extremely successful.
This is now not a product that 'might' work, it has been shown to work for years (though in very low qty), and now is the time the world is going to find it is quite an amazing technology.
One can't forget that the picture today of the economics of these units is so elevated from what it was when just 'diesel' was to be generated is startling. Today we are hydrogen, BLUE methanol (big difference over regular grey methanol), chemicals, etc and honestly diesel is the bottom rung of the revenue ladder (not to mention the cost savings from not having to pay gas venting fines).
