Sunray--Imagine the response of the acquiring company's shareholders when they pay double-digit dollars for a penny stock! There will be rioters in suits at the annual meeting. (I'd actually pay money to see that!). It will be a tough sell... though excellent data on leronlimab's ability to raise PD1 expression and "turn cold tumors hot" might very well be enough to do the trick.
All things considered, this leads me to believe there will be some kind of orchestrated rise in the share price, perhaps even for a partnership but certainly for a buyout. As Respert and others have noted, a partnership leading to a buyout remains the most likely possibility. It will be nice to have the MMs on our side as things turn...
But really, that is like saying it would be nice to have the Mafia on your side. The scale of this kind of corruption--under the guide of business-as-usual on Wall Street--is truly staggering. I was pretty naive to it all before my interest in Cytodyn. But the last five+ years of investing in the company, as well as a couple other small-cap biotechs--has shown me a great deal about crooks-in-suits. (And a lot of that comes from this board).In the meantime I hold my nose, hang on for the duration... and save my pennies for another thousand shares of CYDY here and there.
Could be the best financial decision of my life... Even though my family is not particularly happy about it.
