Great post, this bill aims to end a long-standing

Legislation: The amendment, known as Amendment #84, was attached to the FY2026 MilConVA spending bill. Key wording It prohibits the VA from using federal funds to enforce a policy that prevents VA doctors from recommending medical cannabis or assisting veterans in enrolling in state-approved medical marijuana programs.
Vets can discuss medical cannabis with VA doctors without risking their VA benefits, addressing a barrier where veterans previously had to choose between VA healthcare and state-legal cannabis programs. It applies only in states where medical marijuana is legal (currently 38 states).
Theoretically aligns with Davids statement that Mikety1818 posted, concerning veterans health-care needs, especially for mental health conditions like PTSD, where medical cannabis is often used.
Time will tell!!!
