Totally agree with your assessment of the loss of rudimentary information... held in the minds of the older generation...those that know where the bones are buried. We got this far in history... from the stories and teachings of our elders.
I see AI as a fast reach into historical fact,...and the ability to cobble together enough information to put a face to the problem...at this point in time...I'm not convinced it should be used as ipso facto. I don't care... that it can beat me in checkers.
