For years when you look at the daily charts it looks like a system that is getting tuned most days. Almost like adjusting PID variables to stabilize feedback loops in control systems. Its wonky early, then smooths out and usually only new actions near the end of the day will affect it. My guess is only when the volume goes up resulting in the inputs getting too far out of bounds for reacting and control is lost. Probably a result of how much capital is behind the feedback adjustments. The actuators and valves can only stroke so quickly and still stay stable.
Just waiting for the system to overwhelmed and get out of the torque and speed range of the controlled devices. The sights and sounds of their horns and claxons going off on system control failure will be like music to our ears.
