GOBIE H2O is dedicated to being a role model brand for responsibility and conservation.  We create innovative products that provide an economical, ecological, and healthy alternative to disposable water bottle consumption, while promoting the efforts of organizations who share an aim to make the world a better place.

Development of the Brand
The GOBIE water bottle is the eco-friendly brainchild of artist and designer, Rusty Allen. After earning his degree in Industrial Design from the acclaimed Savannah College of Art and Design, Rusty packed his bags and headed to the sunny  beaches of California.  Five years into a diverse career as an industrial designer, he found himself working on a broad spectrum of high-end products, everything from celestial lighting to CAT-scan machines.  Making a pivotal career decision, he decided to use his skills to develop a breakthrough product that does something great for the environment, while helping people save money during the downturned economy.  He realized his dream and wanted to follow his optimistic ambition.

At that time, the media was filled with negative event after negative event: natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina, the discovery of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, and the alarming estimate of 600,000 plastic water bottles being thrown away by Americans every 15 minutes.  Always ready for a challenge – and knowing he had the skills and drive to help make a change – Rusty made that pivotal decision.  He quit his job and made a commitment to developing something meaningful, something unique, and something that would ultimately help reverse the devastating impact disposable plastic waste has on the planet.

Rusty’s most daunting challenge was to design something absolutely basic, but absolutely essential.  This product needed to be as useful as it was beautiful, if it was going to make a considerable difference in people’s lives.   Marrying form to function, Rusty created GOBIE, the world’s first, fully portable, daily-use, reusable, zero-waste, filtered water bottle.  Since its creation, the product has won awards, changed lives, and has ultimately lived up to its core mission, helping alleviate plastic waste.
