Driving the #45 Desnuda Honda for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Foster started 20th and charged into the top 10 on race day. Despite receiving two drive-through penalties for pit lane infractions, he kept his composure to bring the car home in a provisional 15th place, later elevated to P12 following post-race disqualifications of three competitors.
