Most of us think it's ready, I imagine. It's safe, and Glioblastoma is so lethal that there is no obviously better alternative. Often surgery can't be performed, and radiation often causes collateral damage (and usually doesn't help). First line chemo is Temozolomide, which Leron would probably be taken in combo with.

Dosing of course might need to be changed because the BBB filters out some Leron (it "crosses the blood-brain barrier with 70-75% receptor occupancy of the CCR5 receptors in the brain". And then you'd need to convince doctors/patients, but given the life expectancy of Glioblastoma, I would guess that given good results in Pestell's Temozolomide+Leron study, the next step is humans, soon.
