Temozolomide is the only FDA-approved therapy with a survival benefit for adult patients with glioblastoma.
*Temozolomide (Temodar) is an oral alkylating agent approved by the FDA for use in the first-line treatment of glioblastoma multiforme as well as for recurrent anaplastic astrocytoma.
*Among patients 65 to 70 years of age, the median overall survival was 8.7 months with radiotherapy plus temozolomide and 8.3 months with radiotherapy alone
