He's not wrong. I wouldn't shut up about it and I think he bought some just to be kind. But before you know it he came down with a case of the LL's and now he's as stupid as the rest of us.

I'm sure on the surface we all look pretty dumb. Some more than others. (You know who you are) But beneath the surface it's sneaky smart, and I for one can't wait to lord it over everybody once it plays out.
I heard about it from a guy I'd hired onto my sales team. He was big into investing and had a career in pharma, specifically with Merck. I'd wanted to start fooling around with investing in biotech but didn't know where to start so after he kept pestering me about how thankful he was that I'd hired him (he was old enough that I'm sure he got passed over a lot based solely on age) I finally said if he wanted to repay me (besides doing what I'd hired him to do) he could show me the investing ropes.
Cytodyn was one of a handful of tickers he was in or told me to watch. Didn't take long before I started moving money from other companies over to CYDY. The last stock I had anything significant in was PRVB and I made some on that buyout, which was nice. Moved it mostly into CYDY and a little into a couple others that fizzled out pretty quick, or at least my enthusiasm for them did.
Funny enough, at the time he told me about it he did preface it by saying that it was a good drug but he wasn't sold on management. Boy did that ever become a helluva early assessment. He never got out but he was more careful than I was. Or more disciplined about cutting losses and buying back in later. I'm a holder, baby. Got the grip of a _____ (I'll let you finish that sentence based on your personal tolerance for language) and I ain't letting go easily.
