Ian’s experience in the funding, development and management of capital projects – both in the UK and internationally – stretches back over 20 years.
Ian’s career has ranged from deep coal mining and carbon capture initiatives for coal fired power stations to consulting positions for oil and gas exploration and development companies as well as management and director roles.
Experienced in both private sector work and government initiative leadership, Ian has been responsible for large scale projects in the energy sector, including involvement in the £1.3billion Hatfield Power Park development.
Ian holds a B.Sc in Business Management Studies from Brunel University, London and graduated a Petroleum Program at the University of Texas in Austin. Also in attendance were representatives of major companies such as Apache Corp (NYSE:39B Market Cap), Baker Hughes (NYSE:22.7B Market Cap), Hess (NYSE:20.5B Market Cap) and EnCana (NYSE:14.7B Market Cap).
