chaz: Sorry to upset you by conjuring up the possibility of failed partnership negotiations. In my prior life, I participated in hundreds of successful settlements in which sufficient compromises occurred during negotiations to reach a deal. But sometimes that didn't happen.

In fact, in cases in which I was representing individual plaintiffs, the 3 largest jury verdicts I was awarded during my career, each of which was a 7 or 8 figure amount, came in cases where the first and last offer I received from commercial defendants represented by highly experienced trial lawyers was $0. In each such instance, I felt my client's case had substantial merit, and even though I was seeking in each case far less in settlement than each jury ultimately awarded, none of those 3 defendants ever offered a dime. Now, I have little doubt that If I had lowered my demand in those cases to 5 or 10 thousand dollars, each defendant would have grudgingly accepted and a deal would have occurred. But when the best offered terms are grossly unfair, unless you have no alternative course of action, you have to be willing to walk away.

So, if you believe it is unfathomable that a BP Goliath would ever adopt and steadfastly maintain a grossly unfair bargaining position against a small biotech, I can't help you. But the timing of this CFO appointment, and the compensation package it would entail, suggested to me at least the possibility that CYDY needed to gear up to go it alone, at least over the next couple years, because reasonable partnership terms may not have been offered during the weeks or months of BP partnership negotiations. However, in addition to postulating a scenario in which CYDY would have a viable alternative course of action through which it could still thrive on its own without a partnership, I also stated that I felt a successfully negotiated partnership announcement in Munich was still the most likely big reveal to be made in Munich. And that's because the leverage provided by the Leronlimab TNBC and CRC data should have greatly increased the likelihood that at least one BP would grudgingly have offered reasonable partnership terms. Lastly, I hope my suggestion that Contingent Marketing Authorization for LL from the EMA might be imminent did not amount to another big wet blanket for you.
