One thing I am going to be on the watch for is perhaps a PR but DEFINITELY posted to the website expanding on the mechanism of action once we are outside ESMO constraints for publication of details. There will certainly be people who will say “28 patients…4 survivors…luck…by chance?” There will be a lot of traffic I suspect triggered by ESMO to the website and Cytodyn is smart enough to get out ahead of that reaction. The video they put out some years ago on mechanism of action was brilliant and still pertinent but I think they address the question head on and with additional information (eg CTC’s in the data array and how they correlate with clinical outcomes) so the message is loud and clear: the results are not an outlier but a very logical and expected result based on mechanism of action. I also expect a full court press to publish the current data and per routine medical journal article outline, there will be a “discussion” section at the end to drive the point home.
