Leronlimab was not studied for FIV. Cytodyn's original drug, Cytofeline which if I remember correctly targeted CD16 was. I think it had failed in pre-clinicals for humans and they switched over to FIV. Then a doctor that Nader knew said he should take a look at a drug that Progenics had shelved called PRO140, now known as leronlimab.
