I'll put your post 151703 on my e-bulletin board since it summarizes my what-the-heck feelings back then. In severe/critical COVID, we dosed at day 0 and day 7 and that was it. First was a look at day 28, and later the DSMB said hey, look at day 42 also.
I thought, well, they must know what they're doing. Maybe I was right. They knew how to preserve or increase the value of the Big Pharms who fund the FDA budget and who offer jobs after 'government service' ends. String the little guy along (the company they 'hate', as in the emails); maybe they'll (we'll) run out of money. As posted already, there's an understandable urge for repetitive face-punching because of the lives lost. There's also a bit of comfort knowing that there's YouTube info on how to tape one's hands. (Obviously, I mean a timed (three 3-minute rounds?) refereed event in the ring)
