Re: Steel Reserve #125231
The protest were much different in the 1960's and actually considering all the people in the USA back then and now these kids now we were far more extreme back then but we had what these kids don't have today and that is a foundation to begin with. Most of us during the 1940's/50's had our a$$es kicked from one end of the house to the other when needed and sometimes for speculation. It was fine for neighbors that parents knew to also discipline us kids. At school same thing you get you chet together or else. Kent State University was the change. Many of my friends went to Woodstock and I still regret not going although it was the Beatles I wanted to see. Hendrix would have been great but no way in hell have I ever and to this day be the last one out of the stadium/concerts. The last two concerts was Alabama, Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney between 1985-1990. I decided against the Stones in the late 1990's. I had a 57 Les Paul and like an idiot around 1965 cut the body mimicking a tear drop. My 330 Rickenbacker was pretty close to being toast as I would always pull hard on the neck to change sounds. You could only straighten the neck on these just so much but loved the smaller grip on that RB verse the earlier 57 model. I do regret giving both of those away as I know I gave the the 57 to my first brother in law but believe I got into an argument with my first wife and slammed it up against something back then.

...back to my Trump-o and was happy to donated/contribute funds for him and he is doing what a real President should do.

Yes in time as we move through pain here and there will be blue sky ahead but Biden has hurt us so damn bad that guy and some of these democrats should be locked up or deported out of the great country they were/are reining.

Salty is a very special person and I thank him for the style of moderating. I am so glad that Reindeer is posting as we all are people and we all have concerns. Now if Leo55 would start posting and everyone can find the good in each other and deal in principles and not personalities this thread would be a tad better. Of course Trump sucked in his first term and everyone heard my mouth but finding something good in Biden and Trump is moving a step forward....there again comes the personality of the person posting and how a reader reacts to different posts?
