Other posters have been in the Vanguard trap like myself. A few years ago Vanguard disallowed buying of OTC stocks. So I haven’t been able to average down like many of you.
2 years ago I tried to move my Vanguard accts over to Fidelity. They accepted my 2 retirement accts, but wouldn’t touch my personal investment acct. which holds the vast majority of my CYDY shares. They cited a risk assessment, stated that the risk assessment team had determined tons of funny business with CYDY trading. Yet they accepted retimy retirement accts. And suggested I try again later. So I did.
This week my Vanguard shares successfully transferred (and the cost basis history) over to Fidelity. I p on st this in case it helps any other longs currently experiencing the Vanguard trap.
