I have a company that's upside down that I would love to take over and take public... out with the old and in with the new.. so to speak.. kind of like Mr. Allinder taking over as RFMK's CEO!
I however, would let my investors know that if I didn't "Produce $500K" in "Real Product Sales Revenue" for the first year, I'd double their "Share" holdings... you know.. some kind of performance metrics, to light a fire under my own azz and let my companies shareholders know that I'm prepared to hold myself and the company accountable..
Then if I "fail", I admit failure, put together a revised plan that addresses why I failed in the first place, re-focus and re-direct efforts to make certain I hit my next target...
Mr. Allinder set all kinds of Targets when he first took over as CEO... How many of the "Most Important" ones has he and RFMK achieved..
Give me less than half of what RFMK has "Taken" from it's shareholders and I'll give you a company that can provide real shareholder value in return... In less than a year..
I could also do it with one hand tied behind my back.. two weeks to prepare a shareholder update after "news coming soon" back in the beginning of February.... I still laugh about that one every time I think of it..
1st Year Targets... Break Even, Increasing Revenues, and Cash Flow Positive (The Value is in becoming Cash Flow Positive Sooner than Later) This shouldn't be a challenge for a company only selling a few similar "Quality" products..
2nd Year Targets... Become Profitable (Adds Value) Increasing Revenues
3rd Year Target... Achieve Margins comparable to Industry Leaders (Greatest Value of All)
RFMK.. ya right.. I'm sure Tom's all over it!
My company 1st year Revenues of $500K (you see I actually know my company has a very good chance of achieving $750K in revenues, I set company up to succeed, not fail)
RFMK & TA 1st year Revenues of $40K
My company 2nd year Revenues of $1M with at least a 10% Net Margin in "Profit"
RFMK... Guess we'll see what RFMK does in 2013, given $1.5M+ in Losses for 2012.. "Ouch"
RFMK started business in 2007-2008
The one I'm Interested in late 2008...
Wow.. that would be cool to compete on purely a Business Performance vs Business Performance kind of situation eh? I'd blow Allinder's socks off...
I think there are "many" others here that could do the same.. BWTFDIK!!
