I let my imagination get the best of me today. I asked myself, "what if the gene edit version of Leronlimab is successful in HIV treatment and there are no major side effects". Imagine that, everyone, even non-HIV healthy individuals can get the required initial treatment and they'll have a long term treatment of Leronlimab to help fight inflammation, prevent or limit tumors from metastasizing, maybe even prevent Alzheimer's, and all the other CCR5 related diseases. OMG. I know that's a long ways away, but if these trials in Uganda are using this new version of Leronlimab, it won't be that far away. Anyway, if we ever get to that point then that will change everything! Okay, back to reality. Let's get an HIV cure!!!
