I had a look to see which gut microbiomes Ohm was referring to -- ones that have been linked to inflammatory diseases -- and also found some of the diseases they promote.
E. coli is of course one, but also Enterococcus faecalis, Ruminococcus gnavus, Bacteroides fragilis, and Proteobacteria.
These biomes are linked to inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s & Ulcerative Colitis), Metabolic Syndrome & Obesity, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Colorectal Cancer (CRC), Neuroinflammatory Diseases (including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis), Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) & Liver Fibrosis.
Some of these are pretty familiar to all of us. Most and maybe all of them are on Ohm's list.
Every time you take even a peek at some of the possible things Leron can accomplish, it astonishes you all over again.
