On the devil’s advocate side, what if all that’s happened is Refinitiv used a data mining program to pull information from our 10Q and it mis-categorized those available shares as institutional. Schwab would say they got the number from a reputable source, which they did, and that it came straight from SEC filings, which it did. But ultimately it’s bad data in, bad data out.
So while I’m hoping it’s true, and the back and forth between two iHang stalwarts has been really intriguing, I’m still assuming it’s an accident until I learn otherwise. It’s a good plan. I won’t be disappointed and I might be elated. Win-win.
