I have, and it sucks. Really a scam to unlock your shares and then execute a "short sale exempt"...don't ask me what is actually happening. I can't stand the whole process with Vision because you have to pay a fee, sign two forms, and it takes 5-8 business days.
After going through this several times, I'm selling the Vision allotment as soon as they are unlocked. The last warrant exercise I got in was July 19, 2024, and those were locked for 6 months, so just now eligible. I'm in the process of selling that and will concurrently take the proceeds to immediately buy clean shares with my Schwab acct.
So why would anyone go thru this nonsense? I was able to take warrants with a .75 cent strike and exercise at about 9 cents. Deals like this have diluted the company for years, but it's the only way they can raise money for operations.
