Interesting. I've had a sneaking suspicion that somebody is accumulating at these prices, though I can't prove it. I find the relatively high volumes on the 30th and 31st curious, since the shorts have never needed much volume to move the price down. And while the Chaiken money flow study shows solid accumulation in early Dec folllowing the shareholder letter, that has faded over the past few weeks to sloping negative.
I get that we all have our theories, tax loss selling, low-priced warrants being exercised (which would make no sense here, IMO given the prices we're now looking at) and that's fine with me. But it seems to me that those all-powerful market makers can make that chart present in a way that obscures what's really going on.. Perhaps this Stockscan service has the software to see through that fog for us.
