Yes, but there probably were people who wanted the sp to close at its alltime low -- I think this might have been the second lowest closing price ever. Those people see the stock market as a place where appearances are everything. If it looks like a company is failing, then it must be failing, is the credo they hope everyone will buy into. But economist Phillip Fisher, who was a giant among those who saw value in innovation, commented that "The stock market is filled with individuals who know the price of everything, but the value of nothing."
That's what this board is about, I think: people who see value in a change that's going to come. We don't know when, but it's coming. I'll bet it's soon; but if not, I'll just wait. Surely that's true for most of us.
