Hated to see him go.as he did give back much to many people however, he could have, should have, clamped down on Iranian AH's. It so disgraceful to see those extremist thrown the pilot down unto the runway back then and some thrown out of several building back then. Had Carter had any balls back then we would probably be living in a better world but who really knows. Damn back in the day just plop your money on the counter to pay you flight fee and off you went....less than 1hr maybe even 30 minutes if everything went smooth. Of course we are talking early 60's.
