Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., said Thursday he would support releasing the names of congressional legislators who used taxpayer funds to settle harassment claims made against them.

"Congress has secretly paid out more than $17 million of your money to quietly settle charges of harassment [sexual and other forms] in Congressional offices," Massie posted on X.

"Don't you think we should release the names of the Representatives? I do."

Massie also included in the post a clip from a June 2024 House hearing on President-elect Donald Trump's criminal case in New York involving payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, in which Massie claimed that "Congress has paid over $17 million in hush money for sexual misconduct inside of the offices in these buildings. And what's more is that was taxpayer money."

Replying to the post, Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene, R-Ga., wrote: "Yes. I want to release the congressional sexual slush fund list. Taxpayers should have never had to pay for that. Along with all the other garbage they should not have to pay for."

Elon Musk, the owner of X and a top adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, also replied: "Whoa? Yeah."
