The term, "Free Shares", is one that's been commonly used for a very long time by traders to mean their original investment has been recouped and as such their remaining shares represent pure profit, ie $0 cost basis, hence the term "Free".
Also, <$0 cost basis simply means initial investment was recouped in addition to some profit taking while still possessing shares of said stock.
Most sensible readers could figure this all out but not the clown show that is Wallstreet James of course.
