Everyone with a functional brain understands, except Wally James of course, that an RS by nature DOES NOT result in PPS decline.
The factor by which the share count decreases results in a proportionally equivalent increase in the PPS.
The PPS subsequently decreases post RS because of zero or little buying pressure due to the loss of, or reduced confidence in the stock's future prospects.
Simply put, if buying continued or increased post RS the PPS would obviously rise or maintain its value.
