From what I have read about Mr. Spencer, I would say he is both. I can't find it now, but I read somewhere how his interest in robotics started at a very young age. Building and selling robots has been a life-long dream of his and I'm happy to see his dream coming true! He has guided many engineers to develop the company's proprietary robotic software and now they are ready to build and sell.  GO GOSY!
