While there isn't a formally designated "quiet period" mandated by law specifically before a shareholder meeting, many public companies will often practice a period of limited communication with investors in the weeks leading up to a major event like a shareholder meeting, particularly if sensitive information regarding company strategy or financial results might be discussed at the meeting; this is done to avoid any potential insider information concerns and maintain a level playing field for all shareholders.
In the past these meetings tallied shareholder votes and called it a day very quickly. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll get news when there's news...AFTER the meeting and when they have something newsworthy to announce.
