Rep: Thanks for your patience. I know what you mean about the main error we're focused on here, I even mocked it up with my own account to see the same error code preventing any purchase orders.

My trade desk let me know that there is no additional information regarding the block at this time. The firm made the decision to block trades for this particular security for our customers, so only sales will be allowed as you stated earlier.

I wish there was more information to provide here. We certainly don't want to see you go and truly, for what it's worth, I'm sorry we aren't able to get the trade placed.


Me: Maybe it has something to do with the VERB engagement with the securities fraud counsel mentioned in their PR?

When do you think Fidelity will announce this issue to their customers and give a timeline when it will be resolved?

Why would the firm make this type of decision on only one stock? "The firm made the decision to block trades for this particular security for our customers, so only sales will be allowed as you stated earlier."

Good question. In my experience, Fidelity will not announce when this particular stock is allowed to be purchased again. No timeline has been given at this point either, as I might have expected to see when I reached out to my trade desk."
