Democrats are just itching to penalize speech online as well and it has already happened in certain instances. Douglass Mackey went to prison for Twitter trolling. “A Florida man is heading to federal prison for disseminating trollish memes during the 2016 election season that prosecutors alleged ‘deprive[d] people of their constitutional right to vote,'” Reason reported.
