Dr. Palmer graduated from Columbia University and received her medical training in hepatology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in addition to guidelines with colleagues at the FDA and EMA. A prolific writer, Dr. Palmer has authored many textbook and encyclopedia chapters, and medical and lay-person books, including the best-selling book “Dr. Melissa Palmer’s Guide to Hepatitis and Liver Disease”.
