In your post, I know you are quoting Cytodyn here: " First, we are working on a pilot study of leronlimab in the treatment of patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s Disease. The study will evaluate a neuroradiology primary endpoint to determine efficacy. We are also grateful to the foundation that has tentatively agreed to fund this study but wishes to remain anonymous at this time."
I am not aware of what the Neuroradiology endpoint would be to show efficacy. What imaging modality? PET? PET/CT? Functional MR?
I'm not aware of a Rule Out Alzheimer's imaging test. --->Aunt Susie has some cognitive decline. Doc, can you do a test to see if she has AD?
Most current imaging is done to look for a mass, bleed, stroke, etc. to explain the decline. Imaging for mild-to-mod AD? That would be a heavily utilized test. Maybe cutting edge/bleeding edge stuff from the anonymous foundation. BlakeP/13d riding in on horses?
