The reasons for project denial are outlined in the RIDEM denial letter - link below. Suggest you read it and educate yourself on the denial.

The bigger picture, my opinion, is the decision by snpw to pursue this project. Not having a structured, and independent BOD, is where I consider a significant failure.
Think about it, an insolvent company jumped into a program where they had no experience in this space. The technology was/is highly controversial. It involved processing medical trash in the middle of a pandemic. It involved collecting medical waste from neighboring cities and states, trucking the waste into a local neighborhood, processing the medical waste into a local neighborhood etc. It was stated that that a public hearing was a requirement for moving forward. Did they think the locals would go for this thinking it was a good plan.

Not one positive post out of over 8500 posts that acknowledge the accomplishment of a tiny insolvent company working with a State government for over a 2 year period was able to obtain a letter of intent to approve the location chosen amd the environmental safety of the project.as well as to get that state to financially fund that project.
My opinions.
Ps. Why does this subject continue to be brought up? It’s not a good look.
