Ken: Thanks much for your initiative in obtaining Dr Lataillade's disclosure that he is no longer at ViiV. While sanguine about his hire in terms of future deals, I was hard put to understand how he would not have a conflict of interest vis-a-sis any ViiV deal if he was on the payroll of both companies.
Who knows; the removal of that conflict could prove important down the road. It's reasonable to assume that Dr Max would be a highly credible advocate for the efficacy of LL for HIV in any future negotiation with a BP, but especially ViiV.
